Executive Assistant

Chéri Winfield joined LSST Discovery Alliance in March 2021 as an Executive Assistant. She manages several programs, including Inclusive Collaboration Initiatives, Science Catalyst Grants, Summer Student Program, and other support programs. She also manages the website content and updates.

Winfield is a Michigan native, but as a military family member, she had the opportunity to live in Europe for five years. She enjoyed traveling the world and visiting historic sites. Winfield has called Tucson, AZ home for over 15 years. Her hobbies include collecting swords, battle mace, and suits of armor. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Ken, and her dog Isis, a female boxer.
