Awarded Project: TOM for Identifying Supernovae in Transient Surveys

Project Description

During this project, we will develop a Target Observation Manager (TOM) to identify young type Ia supernovae in current and upcoming transient surveys. Our main goal is to provide candidates to be observed in the Hubble Space Telescope SIRAH program with near-infrared photometry and spectroscopy of 24 SN Ia in the smooth Hubble flow.
