2023 Campaign for Inclusive Science

Double your impact!

Contribute to our year-end fundraising challenge for LSST-DA’s programs, and you are contributing to inclusive student engagement and training, innovation, and interdisciplinary inquiry with Rubin LSST. Until the end of 2023, every dollar donated – up to $33,000 – will be doubled by a group of generous sponsors!

Launch a Student to Success

The first priority of this campaign is a fully-funded 2024 Summer Student Program. A gift of $2200 provides full support for an otherwise unsupported student to attend the 2024 Rubin LSST Community Workshop. A gift in any amount matters. At a pivotal time in their education, undergraduates in this program tour world-class facilities, receive professional development, present their research, participate in cohort building, and engage in structured networking with a wide range of professionals in astrophysics, engineering, and data science.

Science Catalyst Program

We will direct additional funds to the Science Catalyst Grants Program in support of bold ideas, inclusive participation, and interdisciplinary inquiry. This program prioritizes engagement with students and early career researchers and is designed to provide low barrier of entry playgrounds for innovation, science community impact, and new scientific networks.
