Sarah Brough

University of New South Wales

Professor of Astronomy

My overriding interest is galaxy evolution as a function of the environment. I particularly focus on optical observations at low redshift.  Within that, I have a special interest in Brightest Cluster Galaxies and low surface brightness astronomy – particularly intracluster/intragroup light and tidal features. Current Co-Chair of Galaxies Low Surface Brightness Working Group (Galaxies liaison in Rubin Survey Cadence Optimization Committee, Australian Science Lead for Rubin Observatory)
