Director of Finance and Administration
Elizabeth Heile (she/they) became part of the LSST Discovery Alliance team as the Director of Finance and Administration in June 2024. In this capacity, Elizabeth manages the day-to-day internal operations, leads the creation of business and financial frameworks, and develops essential policies for the organization’s prosperity. Her duties encompass handling corporate contracts, supervising budget and financial operations, and directing efforts in financial reporting.
With more than ten years of experience in finance across both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, Elizabeth has a comprehensive background that includes roles in film production and financial management within the independent film industry in her native Washington. She earned an M.B.A. from Anderson-UCLA and a B.A. in Behavioral Science from Rice University. Her personal interests include sustainable apparel production and operations, and organizational development.
