Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Susan joined the LSST Discovery Alliance team in July 2023.  Susan is passionate about sharing the vision of LSST Discovery Alliance and growing relationships with the community and member institutions. 

She brings over fifteen years of experience from key administrative and financial positions. She has a solid background in preparing and delivering accurate documentation to support all types of financial transactions, including tax returns, budgets, and procurement processing. During her several years in the banking industry, she gained valuable skills and experience in the areas of corporate and government policies and fund management overseeing transactions, loans, and financing. She also spent years in bookkeeping and administration through her position as an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper for a CPA firm, assisting with bookkeeping, audit preparation, document control, and compliance.  She further honed her skills in bookkeeping and administration through one of the largest school districts in the state of Washington, gaining Nonprofit bookkeeping and administrative experience.
